My reason for No wheat, No corn, No soy and No artificial
colors in the doughs I make:
I have made many dog meals for my furry babies, and it has escalated into homemade dog treats for friends and family as well. The more I read ingredient labels on dog treats, the less I bought. The more I heard horror stories of recalled treats made overseas, the more I baked. The more dog people I met and spoke with, the more I knew things needed to change. Dogs needed to get back to simple basics with recipes even veterinarians would approve of. I took out the wheat that makes them itch, corn that does not digest and soy. The last thing I really wanted to change was the addition of artificial color. Bow-Wowies treats contain no artificial dyes and food coloring. Most homemade treats need to be kept in the fridge but not Bow-Wowies. They stay fresh for a few months without adding any preservatives.
